Pursuant to Board Bylaw, the board may limit the time for public comments on any single topic to 20 minutes per topic.  The board may also adjust the order of the agenda and hear public comments on non-agenda items at any time during the meeting in order to ensure that the business of the board is conducted in an efficient and effective manner.  Any such changes will be made at the time of the meeting and the public will be notified at that time.

2.Approve the Service Agreement between The Regents of the University of California on behalf of its San Diego campus and the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) to develop professional development days on literacy in mathematics, support PLCs in implementation, and coach SUHSD teacher leaders.

4.Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Southwest Mountain States Regional Council of Carpenters (SWMSRCC) and the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) to provide students with exposure to careers in the construction industry.
5.Approve purchase of two (2) Anatomage Table Convertible for the CTE Health Science and Medical Technology Pathways, for the 2023-2024 school year.

8.Approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) and the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) to provide its family engagement programming to families and educators, during the 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years.

18.Approve the Memorandum of Understanding between UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies (UCSD) and the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) to provide Parent University workshops to all families of SUHSD, during the 2023-2024 school year.
H.Student Services Discussion Items
1.Approve the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Blue Dot Education (BDE) and the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) to provide additional project-based learning activities to students and professional development to Alta Vista Academy Teachers, during the 2023-2024 school year.
2.Approve the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding between WestEd and Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) to provide leadership professional coaching and mentoring for Palomar High School (PAH), during the 2023-2024 school year.
3.Approve/ratify and authorize staff to negotiate and enter into contracts/agreements with additional certified non-public, non-sectarian schools and agency services for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, for students with disabilities who require these services according to their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
4.Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Ed Ladder for tutoring and mentoring services for students in foster care or experiencing homelessness, during the 2023-2024 school year.
5.Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the 2023-2024 school year, between the South Bay Union School District and the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD), for participation in the Sweetwater Middle School Sports (Athletic) League.
